It's fair to say that I have an insatiable desire to work flowers and like-minded Florists to create something rather special.

I’ve had some rather nice remarks about the calibre of my floral shots recently. The secret of my improvement is constant practice without a doubt but the real inspiration for this comes from the lovely @ginadoverjaquesphotography who started me on this photography journey. Gina’s love of floral photography is infectious as she makes flowers live on forever in her luminous film photography. She is a rare find, a film and floral lover who is more than happy to teach us mortal florists how to take a decent shot of our work.

A bad photo of a great arrangement does not attract a new client, so if you want to improve your Instagram and website images contact Gina. It has been a game changer for me, another string to my creative bow but so satisfying to now have a decent portfolio of my own work.

A good photo reminds me how delicate and transient that flower was in the grand scheme of weekly weddings and parties. Practice till you see the difference...then go back and learn some more ! This was my floral mantra and is now my floral photography song!
