A dreamy Olive Grove & Lemon Garden Wedding on a sleepy, medieval hilltop in Tuscany - Villa Sermolli.

Swiss and German couple Sarah & Michael fell for Villa Sermolli for their chilled, family orientated 2 day wedding adventure. They loved how Villa Sermolli, set atop a hill in the sleepy medieval village Bugianno Castle with its stunning gardens was just perfect for them. They loved the charm of the villa, with its weathered exterior walls and individual frescos in each of its rooms. They chose a subtle palette of creams and greens to allow the natural beauty of the villa to shine through.
Villa Sermolli
Villa Sermolli is the ancestral home of the Sermolli family, a noble Italian family that bought the villa in 1602.
The wine cellar, which used to be the villa’s outer wall, is the sole surviving element of the original 13th century building.
The villa was the residence of the Sermolli family for more than three centuries, beginning in around 1640. The villa’s domain once included extensive farmland, a record of which is on view next to the reception desk in the old land register from 1878.
